Welcome to JOY with PURPOSE – Finding Joy in Helping Others

If that name sounds a little familiar – I’ve written the Clip with Purpose blog for over 5 years.  Alas! that website has been lost with all hands on deck!  I decided to start a brand new blog – and I think the title is even better :

– it’s something that bubbles up from within, a sense of contentment that goes beyond circumstances.

the desire to have a meaningful life.   And meaning for me is helping others.

I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.

Welcome to Joy with Purpose

I’ve been inspired by many women in my life – my mother, my aunts, and even my daughter – who passionately love God, love their family and express themselves through art and crafts no matter how difficult and challenging their lives might be.

It is more than an “escape” – it was the way they saw God’s love pouring into them and through them to others in the most creative ways.

My Mission for Joy with Purpose

Together we can make a difference!
I LOVE TO SHOP and find BARGAINS – “never pay retail” is my mantra!  So for pennies on the dollar we can purchase enough for our own families – AND enough to share with others.

I also LOVE TO CRAFT and give them away.

We can be the light – we can make a difference in this world, one person at a time.  This page will focus on helping people through craft ideas and discount shopping deals to help others through many different charities.

As Jesus said: ” Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” John 13:34

Loving our neighbor means locally as well as those around the world and through our gifts we get to share the Good News of Jesus and share God’s love!

Proverbs 31: “She opens her hand to the poor and reaches out her hands to the needy.”

I have spent my life volunteering for a variety of different churches and charity organizations including Operation Christmas Child and Youth for Christ.

Through this page I hope you will be inspired to be the light in your community!
